BAYONNE, NJ (April 21, 2026) — On Wednesday, April 22, Hudson Regional Health (HRH), elected officials, and Bayonne community members will mark a major milestone at Bayonne University Hospital (BUH) with a grand opening celebration of the newly constructed lobby featuring a new entrance for visitors, open floor plan and upgraded waiting area, community pharmacy, Starbucks Coffee, and front desk area.
HRH will also showcase and highlight additional multi-million-dollar upgrades – both underway and planned – to improve patient care at BUH. These include newly renovated patient rooms and nursing stations, sleep lab upgrades, new operating rooms and physician offices, remodeling of the Cath lab, renovations to physical therapy spaces, expansion of behavioral health beds, and future plans to renovate the Emergency Department.
